Applications are invited to attend a ‘Mini MD’ course designed to give non-clinical scientists direct insight into medical imaging clinical pathways.
This free two-week course, run by the BRC in collaboration with the Academic Careers Office (ACO), will focus on vascular and neurological imaging and aims to increase the number of basic scientists pursuing experimental medical questions.
Participants will gain first hand clinically supervised experience of:
- Clinical diagnostics
- Out-patient clinics
- Operating theatre sessions
- Ward rounds
- Multidisciplinary team meetings
Mini MD is suitable for non-clinical scientists with varying degrees of experience, from postdoctoral researchers to senior academics.
