Funding available for partnerships to improve health and care in the community

The NIHR has announced a funding call for research projects run in partnership between community organisations and researchers.

Partnerships between community and charity organisations and NHS researchers can apply for up to £150,000 over 6-18 months to seek to solve health and care problems affecting the local community, and to try out new ways of working together that could be adopted by others.

Charities and community groups can partner with an NHS Trust or other provider of NHS services in England to submit joint proposals for funding.

The NHS organisation involved in the partnership would submit the jointly developed application and take responsibility for it on behalf of the partners.

The call deadline is 21 September 2022 and there is an initial applicant webinar on 21 June 2022.
