Health research impact workshops now open

UCL research staff can now book places on a series of Wednesday afternoon research Impact training and development workshops.

The workshops, open to UCL staff in research or professional services role, at any level of seniority, will run from 21 September to Easter 2023. Workshops have at least 20 places available on a first-come, first-served basis.

Each session will focus on a key skill or concept in research Impact, focusing on health-related research and outcomes.

This semester’s sessions are:

  • Intro to Impact for Health Researchers, Wednesday 21 September 2022 2.00pm – 3.30pm
  • Values-led Impact and Engagement Work, Wednesday 05 October 2022 2.00pm – 3.30pm
  • Pitching Your Research, Wednesday 19 October 2022 2.00pm – 3.30pm
  • Evidencing Research Impact, Wednesday 02 November 2022 2.00pm – 3.30pm
  • Having an Impact on Policy and Parliament, Wednesday 16 November 2.15pm – 3.45pm

Places are offered as a part of the Health and the Public Impact Fellowship, supported by the Institute for Epidemiology and Health Care, UCL Health of the Public, and the UCL Office of the Vice-Provost Research, Innovation & Global Engagement (RIGE).
