The BRC’s Healthcare Engineering and Imaging (HE&I) theme has awarded more than £500,000 in grants money across 12 awards.
Funds awarded include £50,000 to Prof Paul Beard for the clinical translation of photoacoustic imaging for the assessment of rheumatoid arthritis, and £20,000 to Professor Margaret Hall-Craggs to optimise an MRI tool for the assessment of bone and joint health in inflammatory disease.
