Research training sessions launched for staff at UCLH and UCL

The UCLH/UCL Research Directorate is launching a series of training webinars and drop-in sessions to run across 2024.

The online sessions are for anyone who is:

  • Considering taking their first steps into clinical research

  • Just started in carrying out clinical research
  • Already established in clinical research but looking for training opportunities to refresh their skills and knowledge

Sessions will cover a range of topics including:

  • How to get a study up and running

  • Information governance and data security in research

  • How to move into research nursing or nursing research

  • Getting to grips with statistics in research

  • Preparing for research inspections

The Research Directorate will also be running drop-in sessions where existing researchers can get one-to-one guidance on different areas of research management.

Sessions and training dates are on the UCLH and UCL Joint Research Office website. To book onto a session, visit this web page and follow registration instructions.

The introduction of this training is a follow-on from a campaign ran last year to encourage more staff to consider doing research.

Blogs and other resources are still available on the Joint Research Office web pages from the campaign.
