Support with Patient Involvement for researchers

The BRC supports researchers with Patient Involvement and has a dedicated Patient Involvement manager. Support includes:

  • Training - we run workshops on Patient Involvement, including introductory sessions and sessions on setting up a patient group. We also run introductory sessions for patients and the public. Information about training workshops can be found on our BRC website
  • Bursaries  - we have a Patient Involvement bursary fund to help researchers carry out Patient Involvement. For more information go to the BRC news pages
  • Advice – researchers can ask for advice by contacting the Patient Involvement manager Angela Wipperman a.wipperman@ucl.ac.uk or by writing to our helpdesk ppihelpdesk@ucl.ac.uk
  • Community - we work with researchers to engage and involve local communities in research. Read more.
