Patient & Public Involvement

The Cardiometabolic Programme has a Patient and Public Involvement (PPI) panel. The panel, made up of lay people and patients, helps researchers by reviewing research proposals, study documents and grant applications.

The panel can provide feedback electronically or meet with researchers over the lifespan of a study.

We are always happy to connect the lay people with opportunities to input into research, both within the biomedical research centre and beyond.

If you are a researcher interested in accessing this service, or a member of the public wanting to hear more about the panel, please contact Joseph Mirza, Cardiovascular Diseases Theme Operations Manager at joseph.mirza@ucl.ac.uk.
