Christine is responsible for embedding PPI within the research carried out in the CRF; increasing the diversity of the participants; educating staff about the importance of involving patients and members of the public in the design of new trials and for ensuring we communicate in an engaging and effective way with the public about our work.
She is passionate about involving members of the public and trial participants in the design of new research trials and to help increase awareness about the importance of supporting research. She is also keen to involve members of the public to input into improving communication materials and the website.
Having worked for the Clinical Research Network of North Thames for a number of years as PPIE Lead and spent a number of years working with industry to support clinical research, Christine has a wealth of experience and knowledge about delivering and supporting trials through the NHS and pharma. She likes bringing people together and working collaboratively to share ideas and best practice.
