Dr Roberts is Lead Architect for Data & Analytics and UCLH. He has significant experience in both professional software/data engineering and academic research. Before joining UCL(H) Tim worked as a software architect in the Oil and Gas industry.
He received a BSc (1st class) in Theoretical Physics, a PhD in Computer Vision, did post-doctoral work in system biology and undertook a fellowship at UCL applying machine learning to EHR data. Tim also has a keen interest in biostatistics, healthcare machine learning and analysis of ‘omics datasets. He’s very proud to be supporting our NHS.
