Marivic has worked in research for 18 years and has interest in early phase clinical trials. She is the Lead Nurse for the NIHR UCLH Clinical Research Facility, providing innovative clinical and professional leadership to research nurses and other research delivery staff at all levels within the Clinical Research Facility. As the lead nurse for the CRF her role involves supporting and overseeing the delivery of early phase/experimental clinical trials, ensuring that research teams possess the necessary skills and training to provide high-quality care to our research participants.
Since December 2020, she has also served as the Head of Clinical Research Delivery at UCLH. In this capacity, she is responsible for setting strategic objectives for the clinical research delivery team and aligning them with the goals of the R&D Directorate. Additionally, Marivic develops individual roles and ensures that the Trust maintains a consistent, resilient, and flexible research delivery workforce. She also provides specialized expertise and knowledge in the professional development and deployment of all clinical research nurses, midwives, and practitioners across the Trust, enabling a sustained and adaptable workforce with the necessary capacity, capability, and skills to support the delivery of high-quality research outcomes.
