Ricardo Rodriguez is a Senior Software Developer working on the Data Explorer (DEX), a system to create and follow requests for health data for multiple purposes such as Quality Improvement and Research. Additionally, he has a key role in the recently-launched project to use modern technologies (FIHR, OMOP) to integrate our data with other members of the Health Informatics Collaborative. Prior to moving to London, Ricardo worked in Uruguay for five years in software development while doing a BSc in Computer Science & Engineering. He then moved to France where he completed an MSc in Computer Science while working as web developer and webmaster. Ricardo’s fields of expertise are closely related to software development in general with a focus on web systems, user interface design and accessibility. Other areas of expertise include: Business Process Management, Software Architecture and Modelling, Webmaster and Analytics tools, and Database Management.
