A highly skilled and supported research delivery workforce is central to our ability to translate science into patient benefit for better health outcomes. Through initiatives such as the Research Delivery Competency Toolkit (launched June 2025) and the JRO Continuing Professional Development Directory (launched November 2025), we are strengthening professional proficiency and recognising the essential contributions of our research nurses, midwives, Allied Health Professionals and clinical research practitioners - building a motivated and resilient workforce that delivers high-quality, ethical research.
