Cardiovascular Gene Annotation Initiative newsletter

The latest Cardiovascular Gene Annotation Initiative newsletter, edited by BRC faculty member Dr Ruth Lovering, is out and can be read here.

As well as editing the newsletter, Dr Lovering coordinates the Gene Ontology group based at UCL.

Gene ontology research aims to provide an information-rich resource describing the biological activities and subcellular locations of all proteins in the human proteome. Consequently, gene ontology aids a broad range of researchers, including chemists, clinicians, bioinformaticians and wetlab biologists.
