UCLH’s Research Open Day returns for another year! On Thursday 9 July, from 12pm to 5pm, patients, staff and the public are invited to explore the pioneering research and innovation happening across UCLH and UCL.
Featuring over 50 interactive stalls, the event offers research teams the opportunity to showcase their incredible research, clinical trials and technological advancements. Visitors can also join hospital tours, educational talks for local schools and hands-on activities designed to engage and inspire.
Apply for a stall
We are now inviting research teams to apply for a stall at this year’s event. It’s an excellent chance to:
Engage directly with patients, the public and colleagues
Inspire future researchers and healthcare professionals
Encourage participation in clinical trials and research studies
Demonstrate cutting-edge methods and technologies
We are looking for stalls that:
Have high levels of interactivity and engagement
Are about UCLH and UCL-based research or innovation
Are run by researchers and their teams
To apply, please complete the Stallholder Application Form by 11.45pm on 23 March 2026.
All applications will be reviewed, with a focus on the level of interactivity proposed. On the day, UCLH’s Chief Executive, Board Chair, and Director of Research will tour the event and select winners for the 'Best Stall Awards'.
A proven success
Last year's event welcomed over 700 visitors, with 88% saying they learned more about research and 89% saying they were now more interested in health research.
