A BMJ clinical review on prostate cancer has highlighted UCLH’s innovative research into minimally invasive interventions. The conclusions of the review reflect the powerful impact BRC-funded prostate cancer experimental medicine has had on clinical research.

Our Biomedical Research Centre has awarded over £350,000 to the MRC Centre for Neuromuscular Diseases at UCL. The centre, which is one of the MRC’s translational research centres set up in partnership with NIHR biomedical research centres at GOSH and Newcastle University, focuses on bridging the gap between basic science and clinical outcomes. Pivotal to this award has been the leveraging of MRC funding.
