The UCLH Biomedical Research Centre (BRC), together with Noclor, and involving the North London RRDN, is working in close partnership with primary care research units (PCRUs) across North Central London (NCL) to strengthen capability and capacity for high‑quality, inclusive clinical research in community settings, based on patient need.
This work reflects a collaborative model — bringing together the strengths of primary care, secondary care and academia to design, deliver and scale research that matters to patients, clinicians and the health system.
Through this Primary Care Research Partnership, UCLH BRC supports the decentralisation of research, widening participation and enabling studies to be delivered closer to people’s homes.
