Proton Beam Therapy (PBT) is a type of radiation therapy that delivers accelerated proton beams rather than x-rays to treat cancer. Our research aims to enhance the level of protons that reach tumour targets, whilst sparing neighbouring healthy tissues. We are exploring optimal means of delivering protons and are evaluating cancer therapies.

We are also applying advanced imaging techniques to guide prostate cancer surgery.
