Over one-third of UCLH cancer patients take part in research

Over one-third of cancer patients seen at UCLH take part in research, according to a survey published by NHS England.

The National Cancer Patient Experience Survey reviewed adult cancer patients who were discharged from hospital in September, October and November 2013 and found 301 (34%) of the 879 patients from UCLH who responded reported taking part in research.

Over 110,000 cancer patients across the country were asked for their views on their care with 64% responding to the 2014 National Cancer Patient Experience Survey.

The full results of the survey are available on the Quality Health website.
