Researchers applying for funding from 3 BRC themes (Cardiovascular diseases, Inflammation, Immunity and Immunotherapeutics and Healthcare Engineering and Imaging) can now apply for joint funding from the Oral Health and Disease theme.
The move comes as the BRC is encouraging researchers to apply for funding from more than one BRC theme in the current round of funding calls.
The deadline for applications to all existing theme funding calls is 5pm, Friday 8 February.
Collaboration across themes broadens the scope of the research investigators can do, and brings together researchers who may not otherwise work together.

Researchers responding to funding calls should indicate on the application form if they wish to apply for joint funding from more than one BRC theme, including from the OH&D theme.
Applications for funding from more than one theme will be considered by joint board meetings of the relevant themes.
