Awards of up to £40,000 to undertake obesity research are available for early career researchers, allied health professionals and clinicians who do not hold a full-time academic contract.
The funding call from the BRC’s Obesity theme and RoseTrees Trust aims to encourage proposals for translational research aligned to the theme’s research strategy, in areas including:
- improving the health of adolescents with obesity
- investigating the link between obesity and cancer
- assessing and reducing weight stigma.
The deadline for applications is Friday 1 November 2019, 5pm. Applicants will be expected to complete proposed research within 12-18 months.
