PPI vacancy at UCL Ear Institute

The UCL Ear Institute is seeking a research assistant to work on patient and public involvement and engagement for evidENT – a multidisciplinary research team dedicated to developing the best ear, nose and throat (ENT) and hearing and balance research and researchers.

The role is an integral part of the BRC’s Deafness and Hearing Problems theme, and the post-holder will work closely with the BRC PPI and communications team to promote the theme’s work.

The post-holder will be responsible for engaging and involving patients and members of the public in ENT and hearing and balance research and for building alliances with key patient, public and professional groups using professional and social media channels.

In addition to conducting and reporting on PPI within ongoing research projects, the post-holder will develop and lead PPI for new studies that are being developed within the UCL Ear Institute and the Royal National Throat, Nose and Ear Hospital.

This post is funded for 12 months in the first instance.
