Up to £1M available for BRC Neurosciences research

Applications are invited for funding of up to £1M, four awards of up to £250,000, for Neurosciences research under the BRC ‘Big Questions’ scheme.

The ‘Big Questions’ scheme was established to support proposals across key strategic areas of the four BRC programmes. The strategic areas of the Neurosciences programme include novel theraputics and diagnostics, neuro-immunology, motor neuron diseases, brain cancer and stroke (in collaboration with the Cardiometabolic programme).

Applications which aim to develop current research and generate data to facilitate future applications are accepted. Applications must be aligned with the current BRC Neurosciences programme strategy.
