A BRC researcher has recruited the final patient into a ground-breaking international clinical trial of a possible new treatment for facial pain.

A new treatment for patients with acute respiratory distress syndrome (ARDS) has demonstrated an astonishing 81% reduction in mortality.

Taking a prime spot at the BRC’s annual event this week UCLH Chief Executive Sir Robert Naylor said the UCLH/UCL partnership had an “excellent future to look forward to” following a successful year and emphasised the importance of collaborations so UCLH and UCL would remain at the forefront of research.
